Sepsiss: “Yesterday Isn’t Me”
The Manchester metal outfit has been rocking your world since before Obama took office. It’s Sepsiss, which is just one letter removed from a condition in which the body responds improperly to an infection. When Melissa Wolfe takes over the vocals in our highlighted track “Yesterday Isn’t Me,” there’s a melodic, hard rock ballad edge. Don’t get too comfortable: the guttural groan/shout of William Savant brings the jam back into doom-laden territory. Can this band open for GWAR already?
