The dynamic duo – err, trio – is back! Battlemode keeps it strictly instrumental on this 8-bit banger “Mega” that feels like the soundtrack to an advanced Mega Man level, You know, the ones with the fucking lasers that would zap your blue hero into a million little pieces? Mega Man could be an unforgiving game, but it had a great aesthetic. Give credit where credit’s due. Dr. Wily was not only a technical genius in robotics, he also had a great flair for product design. All of his robotic creations had a solid and consistent visual look. Something to ponder while jamming to “Mega” in the pit.
