Kal Marks: “Insects”

Not a Hozier record! Apparently Kal Marks realized after the record went to press that the title Wasteland Baby was already taken by a Hozier album. There are some punctuation differences between the titles but otherwise the words are the same.

Big deal or no? Not a big deal!

The world is big enough for a few wastelands of babies. Our highlighted track off the new album is “Insects,” which is the only song streaming off the record at Bandcamp at the moment.

We’re seeing this more and more, the artist dropping a new record on a platform like Bandcamp with only one or two tracks streamable prior to the release date. Enough wet your whistle. Or is it ‘whet’ your whistle? Or is ‘whet your whistle’ already claimed as an album or song title by Hozier? Anyway, it grinds, with a kind of heavy psych punch, like FACS’ little cousin who’s been smoking too much weed.

Stream, share, buy to your heart’s content.
