Main Era: “Miracle Whip”

Provocative or pandering? I mean “Miracle Whip” as the title of our highlighted track. It’s a needless mayo-baiting. Team Miracle Whip loves their sugary substitute for mayonnaise, and is eager to wage war for its supremacy. And who are we to judge? I’d judge that this song – with its strum, strum, strum indie pop swing – is a bit of a revisit back for the twee thrashlords of yore Main Era. You know, the type of pop magnetism they displayed on the EP Dreamer before they got a little messier and more art-damaged with The Bank, A Famer-era Main Era. Are we tracking Main Era eras now? Shit gets confusing. At 2:20, the standalone ditty is a standalone ditty.
