Looking Glass War: “Rumination House”

A house for ruminating is really any house you want to ruminate in. That’s the title of our highlighted track “Rumination House” by Looking Glass War. But it’s not a flattering description of a residence. Moody brooding! The backing alt guitar-led soundtrack maps onto the depressive lyrics just fine, though there’s a nice bounce in the chord progressions at key moments to signal it’s not all sadness and frowny faces. Some people just get a kick out of the sadness aesthetic. Cure fans, mostly. Who am I to judge? I gotta say that black band t-shirts don’t hold up well in the wash.
