Jet Vesper: “I Could Be Someone Else”

Funky, fresh, and frisky. A song for romancing that’s got a definite love affair with the kind of jazz/funk fusion that reigned supreme on late 70s and early 80s FM radio. The lyrical aesthetic, though, is pure RnB. Extra points for the sweet sax. Was that live instrumentation or a sample? Can’t find all the credits on crappy Spotify platform, so it will just remain a mystery. In other news, why does Jet Vesper want to be “someone else?” You’re doing just fine, just be you.
