Do not pass techno Go, head straight to house Jail. It’s Caxcan, and the Chicago-based electronic artist wastes no time getting to the point. And the point is the beat. Straight pounding to start, but watch for the fancy footwork to develop about two minutes into our highlighted track “telepath.”’ Telepath? Like Deanna Troi from Star Trek: TNG? “ Nah, she was an empath.” Same difference. Caxcan closes with the drone vibe, and god bless the handclap samples.
