Wallace Field: “Breaking Promises”
Got a Dolly Parton warble in that voice. That’s what I hear on our highlighted track “Breaking Promises,” off Wallace Field’s full-length LP All Costs. A little Miley Cyrus growl when she wants too. Ignore the “Boston” tag at the bottom of the Bandcamp page. This artist sounds like pure western Mass forest folk, fed through the anthemic pop meat grinder for an album of songs that wouldn’t feel out of place rocking an arena. Electric stuff.
