Ultra Deluxe: “The Hunters”

Chiptune punkery for the masses. Shades of Gay VS You. Shades of Foo Fighters. Our highlighted track “The Hunters” by Ultra Deluxe has a little bit of both. Off the two-track EP Quests, which seems to spin a kind of future dystopian narrative. But like they always say, the future is now, and science fiction futures are always thinly-veiled critiques of the present. “Intergalactic imperialism” feels like a stretch though. Melon Husk hasn’t even gotten to Mars yet.
