Matt Hagen: “Christmas Bath”

We’re taking a steamy soak with a Burlington songsmith. Oh yeah, you better believe it’s #xmas4eva. Not sure why Matt Hagen needs to loop bodily cleansing rituals into the Xmas season, but he seems earnest about it. “Christmas Bath” is the lead track on his Christmas album. A slow- to medium-tempo carol to share with friends and family. I guess. Now that I’m listening through, though, I wish I had chosen the closer song, “Pour Me A Holiday Beer,” which seems like good, clean, convivial fun without the implied nudity.
