Sheer Mag: “Moonstruck”

Shades of country rock on our highlighted track “Moonstruck.” Not just talking about the steel pedal guitar intro. It’s the bouncy rhythm of the main body of the song that splits the difference between honky tonk chicanery and outright funk. The vocals hit like a young Michael Jackson singing his ABCs. Sheer Mag is a band out of Philly that loves to mix n match vintage sounds and pattern signals from 70s and 80s guitar rock. Hit the title of the track on the refrain enough times and it starts to sound fucking profound. Really, aren’t we all a little moonstruck?
