The Jamaica Plain Music Festival is coming!
Also known as the JP Music Fest. That’s got more zing.
It will be the 12th edition, coming your way in September, and each year is organized with tender love and care by a neighborhood community that loves live music and knows how to have a good time. This is a bottom-up affair, by and for the people, and it needs your support.

The indie rock duo opened Hump Nights. Shoegaze? Alt folk? Slow core? Cats On Film are solid, but Kittens On Film would probably draw even more.
Captain Vampire
Captain Vampire rocked out as a three-piece, crafting folk rock tunes profoundly inspired by pigeons. Extra points for the recorder, a criminally underrated and underrepresented instrument. Not just for “Hot Cross Buns” (or “Three Blind Mice”) anymore!
Solvent C
The three-piece indie rockers Solvent C played musical chairs, trading vocal and instrumental duties throughout the set. Roll the dice, spin the wheel, shock the monkey. You never know what you’re going to get…
