Rosali: “Hey Heron”
Happy New Year!
Enjoy a dreamy rock grinder with a bluesy seesaw rhythm. Every time I hear Rosali’s voice, I feel like I’ve died and gone to heaven (or at least sunk deep into the chemical couch) because this is the voice that sings the harmonies of Plato’s eternal spheres. Precise and casual, reserved and epic, a gone-in-an-instant sound that sticks with you forever. Extra points to James Schroeder on guitar, absolutely shredding it as usual. It’s all a nice snack to tide you over if you’re still hungry after eating up Rosali’s LP Bite Down. Via Merge Records. But if you’re still hungry? Check out the older albums, they fucking rip.
