A song about a commuter, by a commuter, and possibly for a commuter. It’s Reading Room! Got to get to work. Got to get to our highlighted track “Job.” The song’s protagonist sounds lukewarm about the concept. The relaxed rhythm section and jangly guitar provide a baseline indie rock pulse that is just barely awake. Awake enough to punch the clock. Maybe if you’re half-asleep, the work day moves along faster? Off the full-length Tried Relaxing.
