Oneohtrix Point Never: “Sticky Drama”

The first 30 seconds sound like an Aphex Twin track to be honest. Maybe off Drukqs? But that’s the type of memory that casts a long shadow. Whether he’s composing under his own name Daniel Lopatin, or under the moniker, Oneohtrix Point Never is one of the finest and most inventive pop electronic music artists out there today. But in 2015? Our highlighted track “Sticky Drama” still kind of sounds like an Aphex Twin clone, especially the “Come To Daddy” vocals on the back end.
