Mulva: “Ward Them Off”

“Mulva, I’m home!” That’s what Archie Bunker would’ve said to his wife if his wife’s name was Mulva. Members of Kal Marks and more join forces to cook up an alt rock stew with their new (debut full-length) album Bitter Form. Our highlighted track “Ward Them Off” is a guitar-driven pop grinder that trades between dissonant licks and sweeter fills. A song that balances on the tipping point between melodic riffs and outright noise. The vaguely metal vocals of Christian Puerto pull it back into pop altitudes before it blasts off into the airless stratospheres of post rock. Available via Sad Cactus Records.
