Did you see this dude on SNL? He was pretty good. A kind of latter day grandchild of The Police. The sound – from the guitars, to the vocals, to the drums – is real juiced up with effects. Almost to the point that you’d wonder whether they could pull it off live. But if the performance on the late night skit comedy show was legit, and not an Ashley Simpson, then Mk.gee has got the goods. Our highlighted track “Dream police” makes no bones about the legacy, and neither does the album title, Two Star & The Dream Police. Via R&R Digital.
