Magic Carpet: “Flow”

FPE Records doesn’t know how Bandcamp works. They’re a record label, so they need to set up a Bandcamp page that can platform their artists’ album releases without crediting the label itself as the artist.

Look, I don’t know how it works either. But if I ran a record label, and I wanted to use Bandcamp, I would figure it out. Just to give some examples of how this group (versus individual) Bandcamp page is done properly, look at how International Anthem, Trouble In Mind, and Exploding In Sounds Records do it. When you click into the album pages for artists within their portfolio, the musician is credited as the artist behind the album, not the record label.

I’m sure the funk jamz brought to us in our highlighted track “Flow” by Magic Carpet would appreciate a little credit.
