Moor Mother: “God Save The Queen” ft. Sovei

Love the trumpet (?) on this track. Or maybe a saxophone? It’s got a real James Chance smokes dope with Miles Davis quality, supporting a spoken word homily about not-quite-sure.

The important point in our highlighted track “God Save The Queen,” though, is that God might not be enough to save the queen. Otherwise, why would so many people throughout history repeat the trope?

Moor Mother, straight outta Philly, has the answer. But are they sharing it? Extra points for the theremin in the Bandcamp profile pic.
