Kerrin Connolly: “Talk Therapy”

An uptempo pop rocker straight out of the gates. Some nice guitar riffery by Kerrin Connolly, but our highlighted track “Talk Therapy” doesn’t find its weird and wonderful place until the cascades of proggy synth kick in. As for the therapy banter, it’s the usual humdrum of everyday cares throttled into modes of existential significance. Vocals are mixed front and center, and the lyrics ring crystal clear, making this a sing-along album in search of a bouncing ball. Off the full-length Transitions.
