Horse Lords: “Against Gravity”

Blast jazz, microtonalism, Saharan guitar sounds fighting a state of entropy. Horse Lords are hard to describe, but fascinating to listen to. Shades of Les Filles de Illighadad – our highlighted track “Against Gravity,” off 2020’s The Common Task, sounds like an entire village offering paeans to heaven. But it’s only four or so dudes?
