dropbear: “Bystander”
Written By Michael Gutierrez

Our highlighted track “Bystander” has got a guitar feedback intro that tees you up like a baseball at a homerun derby. But the lead vocalist from dropbear slow plays it, inching up the tension phrase by phrase until the guitars break loose and a bomb drops somewhere in the bass drum area. You’re in it. A full-fledged rock n roll burner that purrs like a lowrider taking its time on a country road. Extra points for the reverb on the vocals, which gives the track an arena-sized tremor.
