Blue Lake: “Fur”

Blue Lake’s approach to music feels like a collage of sonic bits collected from the sunny side of the railroad tracks. Clarinet, zither, and slide guitar? The Copenhagen-based artist calls it experimental and that sounds about right to us. The highlighted track “Fur” builds up layers atop of central clarinet throughline. With all the bits and pieces you could assemble this collage a dozen times and always find new, strange intersections of textures to adore.
