Bent Knee: “Illterate”

You ever seen Zach Galifianakis’ “pretentious illiterate” character? He performs it at some point during this Purple Onion set. The joke is that he puts on glasses, gives you a condescending glare, and proudly announces that he can’t read. Or something like that. Is Bent Knee giving us a similar type of wisecrack with a misspelling of ‘illiterate’ as a song title? That’s kind of hilarious. Or maybe it’s just an honest typo. Extra points for the jazzy vocal runs. Off the full-length LP Twenty Pills Without Water. Which is a lot of pills without water.
