Psicodelia or psychedelic, however you like it, from the Brazilian heavy rock jammer Lê Almeida. Does our highlighted track “Fuck The New School” really need to be 11:18 long? No, not really. But in an album full of zippy, stoner rock ditties, it’s nice to hunker down for a nice long trip and see what comes out the other side. Lê Almeida likes freaky sounds and wild vibrations, but the strongest elements of Paraleleplasmos are characterized by sparse and spartan songwriting that keeps things simple. Shades of White Stripes. Go down le rabbit hole.
