Knot: “Fallow”

The artist(s) formerly known as Krill transmuted into the earthly entity known as Knot.

The Brooklyn-based band released a self-titled LP in 2020 on Exploding In Sound. Longtime listeners will recognize similar hallmarks of style along the Krill-Knot trajectory. A kind of tortured guitar minimalism that crafts entire songs out of less notes than you can count on two hands. Sometimes one hand. Wordy, warbling lyrics delivered in a sing-speak. And a stripped-down approach to drums that mostly stick to the Meg White School of Percussion.
