Dominic French: “McFrench Blue”

“McFrench Blue” off ‘bout Time, Part One

Much like the McRib, our highlighted track “McFrench Blue” is a tasty offering you’ll want to snap up before it's gone.

The Boston-based jazz musician Dominic French enlists the services of backing band Los Mercenarios to record his three-song EP of original compositions ‘bout Time, Part One. The inheritance of the classic jazz tradition rings true in songs dominated by the bright, brassy sounds of trombones, trumpets, and saxophones. The Latin flavor shines through in the nimble percussive schemes that are equally happy onstage or salsaing on the dancefloor.

Keep your ears open for future attractions. This EP was Part One. Presumably Part Two is on its way?
