Analysis
The 49ers are loaded with talent and will win a lot of games, but the organization has its eye on the Super Bowl. To that end, San Francisco looks committed to moving on from Garoppolo to the young Lance. Trey Lance looked OK in limited action last year, though it remains to be seen whether he can maximize all the offensive weapons at his disposal. The 49ers defense is good enough to clean up after a few messes, but not if Lance regularly shits the bed.
