YHWH Nailgun: “Tear Pusher”
Electro post punk. Our highlighted track “Tear Pusher” has an underground New Wave tremor. A standalone single from the tail end of 2023. It’s YHWH Nailgun, straight outta New York, New York.
“YHWH” is how you spell the name of God without writing out all the letters, which is considered a kind of blasphemy, for a mere mortal to speak or write the name of God. So of course the first thing that children do when they learn about this religious detail is speak or write out all the letters of the name of God.
Shades of David Byrne david-byrning. The lyrics are dada nonsense, but you should appreciate that they spell out the title of the song, letter by letter, at the end of the song. It’s a gesture to a unified thematic.
