Watercoat: “Castle In The Distance”
It’s been a busy year for the Burlington outfit. Watercoat dropped a full-length album in May, Circles On My Map, and now they’re back with the EP album5 (secret dont listen). Not sure how secret it is, but have a listen to our highlighted track, the leadoff “Castle In the Distance,” which rocks some skrobbly electro slow jamz, with vocals being traded back n forth for a kind of Green Mountains-version of the Ja Rule/J Lo collab experience. Some weird noodly synth gurgling in the mix — you’ll dig it.
