Vivid Bloom: “Believe”

A kind of trashcan distortion like you hear on the best Sonic Youth reverberates through our highlighted track “Believe.” Vivid Bloom is a band that likes the shoegaze textures. You could almost convince yourself the Boston-based quartet is a more straight ahead pop ensemble. But then they stomp the boxes, and the whole sound blows up. The lead vocals sing at you from the bottom of a well, and they probably wouldn’t have it any other way. Off the EP Out of Focus.
