Daniel Villarreal and Vivian McConnell team up for breezy dance tracks. That’s Daniel Villarreal from Dos Santos and more, and Vivian McConnell AKA V.V. Lightbody, joining forces to create the electro pop due Valebol.
Our highlighted track “Salvavidos” is an uptempo, percussive-heavy track that cops Blondie at her breathiest on the vocals.
Definitely some tinny drum machine in the mix, which creates a kind of flashback to a world of toy synths. Sounds like some “brick and mortar” percussion as well, including congas and otherwise. Off the self-titled, full-length LP Valebol.
