Turn On The Sunlight: “Father and Child”

With a title like “Father and Child,” it feels like we’re digging in Big Myth Archetype territory. The soundscape on our highlighted track does nothing to disabuse us of the notion.

The musician behind the moniker, Los Angeles’ Jesse Peterson, curates an archaic and elemental arrangement of ambient sounds clips and instrumentals. What comes out in the wash? The feeling of being dropped 10,000 feet below the Earth’s crust into a gigantic cavern where diamonds grow like skyscrapers and dinosaurs still roam.
