Trash Sun: “High Alone”
A sonorous wail about halfway through this song. What is that cutting through our highlighted track “High Alone”? Sounds like a buzzsaw, a logsplitter, or maybe a vacuum cleaner that’s about to burn out. All of which makes me sound like I’m describing a noisy musique concrète fiesta, but Trash Sun are supplying us with a more straightforward, if off kilter, grunge rawk experience. A rollicking banger. Complete with feedback guitar outro. Off the EP Live Free and Die.
