Rose City Band: “Chasing Rainbows”

Rose City Band is in the deep zone these past few years, cranking out reliable bluegrass gold. Like clockwork! The self-titled Rose City Band (2019), Summerlong (2020), Earth Trip (2021), and now 2023’s Garden Party.

Keep in mind that most of this prolific production was in the middle of the pandemic. It was hard enough to stock toilet paper, never mind record a full-length album. But if you caught the songwriting bug and were surrounded by the right group of musicians and all the right equipment, maybe it was the best time of all to manifest your music. Shades of Grateful Dead and every jam band you like, love, and adore.
