Rosali revs up for a new album with a cover of George Harrison’s “Stuck Inside A Cloud.” The singer puts her stamp on the track with a smoky, psych-laden interpretation. In other words, plays it pretty straight. What appeals to the artist about the source material. You’d have to ask her, but to our ears, there’s a strong middle range at play in the song. Rosali wields a voice that builds out from the center, instead of racing to the upper and lower ends of the register. The Harrison number lets her do her thing.
