Petaluma Vale: “Gooseberry Girl”

Harps rock, but this isn’t harp rock from Petaluma Vale. More like folk, with some classy string accompaniment in the form of cello and more. Our highlighted track “Gooseberry Girl” reaches for that cottage-core golden ring. A touch of Celtic pagan pageantry as well. Or is it a celebration of Scottish pastoral reveries? However you slice it, the flowering and fruit-producing shrub grows well in the northern latitudes, with many species cultivated on both sides of the Atlantic. Tastes like Snozzberries.
