Oldsoul: “Lavender Cane”

Oldsoul wails hard (excellent!) but they tease out the tall walls of the big chord refrain in our highlighted track “Lavender Cane”. It’s the lead single off their new album Education On Earth, which drops in the middle of August. Listen for the slow, poppy buildup to set the table before the band chases after the grand finale. The matter-of-fact strums sport shades of Weezer, but the vocals don’t trade in Rivers Cuomo mopery. It’s earnest rock n roll howling, delivered deep from the diaphragm, straight to your door.
