Melt: “Fake Romantic”
Kinda inspirational. The hard piano phrase at the front makes me want to leap up on a table and scream aloud “I’m not gonna take it!” Not in a weird, angry way. More like I’ve got some much clean spiritual joy in my heart that I can’t hold it back anymore, got to share it with the world, and possibly convert the world to my niche sect of Christianity. One of those rich sects where everyone is successful and attractive and wealthy, and you’re thinking “What’s the secret in their sauce?” No other secret than daily weeding chores and millet grinding sessions beneath a hot sun, soundtracked to our highlighted track “Fake Romantic” from Melt. Not The Melt, Melt.
