Lucie Vítková: “Hair Score”
Written By Michael Gutierrez

The ambient sound artist records music in caves in the Czech Republic. Why the fuck not? Music in medieval Europe flourished inside stony churches and cathedrals, offering similar acoustics. In fact, Lucie Vítková recorded in an abandoned church in Slovakia too. Did it have to be abandoned? Our highlighted track is one of the cave numbers, using the natural reverb to make haunted mourning vibrations. Shades of David Lynch’s The Grandmother meets SEED. Available in physical media as a limited-edition cassette. Aren’t all editions limited when you think about it?
