Leather Lung: “Spit In The Casket”
This stoner metal band understands their aesthetic. It’s Leather Lung! Case in point: the album cover, on which a Vampirella-looking babe clutches a fat spliff and a can of beer in a graveyard full of skulls with mushrooms growing out of their eye sockets. Nuff said on that front. As for our highlighted track “Spit In The Casket”? Killer metal licks and riffs keep the intensity on spin cycle while a doomy worldview washes over you. It’s the opening track off their new LP Graveside Grin, and it’s gonna grab you by the scruff of your neck and toss you in the pit. Better the scruff of your neck than something else.
