A straighthead altrock burner with krautrock rhythms and postpunk vocals from Idler Wheel. ‘Postpunk vocals’, what does that even mean? OK, let’s get even more specific. Kind of a Ian Curtis mixed with a goth Morrissey, minus the British accents. Not sure if it’s that either, but who wouldn’t want to hear that concoction? Our highlighted track “Armor” comes off the 2022 EP Run Straight Down, available on cassette via Candlepin Records.
