Only one Bandcamp tag on this album: ‘Paris.’ Is that accurate? Horacio Vaggione is an Argentinian composer – maybe he’s living in Paris. The label Recollection GRM is Paris-based, for sure, and its uncompromising commitment to far out, experimental music is a natural fit with Vaggione’s sonic explorations. Our highlighted track “Schall” is about seven minutes of what sounds like a 12-year old girl’s jewelry collection being dragged through the inside of a piano while a toilet flushes somewhere on Mars. In other words, music for relaxing by the pool with a cold drink and a good book. Off the full-length ‘Schall’ / ‘Rechant’.
