Felipe Gordon: “Easel Of Suave”

The Colombian electro wiz Felipe Gordon is back with a full-length album Errare Humanum Est, which is Latin for ‘caveat emptor,’ which is German for ‘quid pro quo,’ which is Italian for ‘Veni, vidi, vici,’ which is Esperanto for ‘Pax Romana.’

Hump Day News delivered high praise for Gordon’s previous LP A Landscape Onomatopeya. The album was chock full of light, keys driven, house jammers. As of press time, only two tracks from the new album were streaming.

If our highlighted track “Easel of Suave” is any indication, Gordon’s new album is a more complex and ambitious endeavor for the composer. Shades of serialism fed through the pop meat grinder with an acid chaser. Buckle up for the full album, which drops in August.
