Drug Rug: “Crazy See”
Whatever happened to the projected third album from Drug Rug? Our highlighted track “Crazy See” came out in December of 2013, described as a song from the band’s forthcoming album Isle of View. The song flashes jangly, sparkly indie rock thump that builds into a quasi-raga jammer. A bit psych, a bit drone, all pop. If Isle of View was ever released, it’s news to me. The album is not to be found on the usual streaming platforms, nor listed in the usual music databases. Was it lost to history, like the third book of Nikolai Gogol’s Dead Souls? Honest question, let me know.
