Dougie Poole: “The Rainbow Wheel of Death”

A lot country, a little bluegrass, all spin by and by on the wheel of death. No worries! It’s a rainbow wheel of death from Brooklyn’s Dougie Poole! Legend has it that you’ll find the leprechaun’s pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. But if we’re talking about a circular rainbow wheel, then there is NO END TO THE RAINBOW because it keeps spinning round and round continuously. If we trace this line of thinking one step further, anyone who attempts to find the gold at the end of the rainbow wheel of death will merely follow his own tail endlessly in circles unto death. Hence, the album title. You’re welcome.
