Crosslegged: “Only In The”

An unassuming weird folk gem. The steel drum sample gives our highlighted song “Only In The” a vaguely tropical feel. But it’s the quizzical guitar lick on repeat that lends the composition its singular personality. Crosslegged does a lot with a little, and could probably do even more with even less, like we heard with a stripped-down live version at a show at O’Brien’s Pub in late November.
