Coral Moons: “Fieldcrest”
Written By Michael Gutierrez

The title track from Coral Moons’ LP Fieldcrest is a childhood reverie. Days that last forever, shady lane neighborhoods, trips to the lake, fond memories of Mom & Dad. Oh to live on Sugar Mountain. Nothing lasts forever except the memory of yesterday. Carly Kraft's vocals, soaked in reverb, rise up over the tail end of the track like a Supermoon. The lyric “We got old” should strike a note of regret, maybe a little mourning, but the mood of the outro is all serene, satisfied, and full of gratitude all the way down.
