Circus Trees: “Negative Feedback”

Sadcore rides again! The Marlborough band Circus Trees gloms onto the genre descriptor with what seems like a wink and a laugh. Why so serious? Not so serious. But listen to our highlighted song “Negative Feedback,” and hear how it delivers the goods. A slow-to-medium tempo, guitar-driven rocker that amps up from quiet confessional to loud ballad over the course of a few minutes. If you ever mass-produced this sound you’d need a whole sad factory full of sad elves, working around the clock, churning out sad singles non-stop. And for what? To line Santa’s coffers?
