Ambient drone, through and through. Don’t buy the ‘shoegaze’ descriptor at the footer of Bandcamp. Maybe Minnesota’s Aquarelle gazes at shoes on other albums, but the long and open arcs of the soundscapes here are pure Nu Age. Our highlighted track “Ballad” even gets a little industrial, evolving through various noise vibrations. Around the 15:00 mark is what bitcoin mining must sound like.
